Football Junior Year

I love the fall and watching my Tigers play football. It's so hard to believe Hunter's junior football season is almost over. We have enjoyed tailgaiting with the Kolwyck's. We love spending time with them.

Hunter's AYS coach came to watch him play. We love Coach Scott.

Arlington was chosen as game of the week when they played Whitehaven. They had to be at school at 5:45am for interviews. It made for a long day.

Amy sent me this picture from their 7am pep rally that morning. It was televised live.

Hunter & Tate had a lot of support from their baseball buddies. John Ross came down from Murfreesboro, Braden came to watch from Collerville, Will & Chase came from St. Benedict.

I love the friendship Hunter & Tate have created over the years. They are both amazing young men.
This is the Whitestation game. We lost the game 45-35 but Tate threw 4 touchdown passes to Hunter. It was awesome to watch.

I am so thankful God blessed Hunter with the talent to do the things he loves.


This picture is from right after the last game in Nashville. I can't believe we only have one season left of high school football.

The 2 1/2 hour ride home.

Late in the 4th quarter of Friday nights game Hunter took a hard hit. He ended up not finishing the game. On Sunday he was still having pain taking a breath, so we ended up in the pediatric ER(notice he's too long for the bed) having Hunter's ribs & chest checked. After blood work, x-rays and a CT of his liver area they said he has bruised ribs and inflammation of the muscles and cartlidge in his chest wall. They gave him meds and told him to rest for a week. He wasn't happy because he already had made plans to go hit baseballs with one of his buddies. We are just very thankful for a good report.

Hunter's going to...

On September 7th Hunter announced that he is going to the University of Memphis to play baseball. We are very proud of him for his decision and look forward to him continuing his baseball career as a Tiger. I finally got to buy the flag I've been wanting for the house. :)

Back to School & August

August started with a birthday lunch for Lily.

Hunter was invited to play for Team TN in the Future Games in Indiana.  Eli & Jaylen played too.

They were gone on our 22 anniversary so me, Haley & Mom went to Longhorn to celebrate. Rob, dad, Hunter & Beau went to Golden Corral in Indiana. (Rob let the boys pick) Even though we were apart on the actual anniversary we are so blessed to have each other everyday. I love Rob more today than the day we got married. He is an amazing husband and dad.

 Hannah was excited to see Hunter when he got home.

First day of 11th & 10th grade. Be still my heart. Where has the time gone. I can't stand how fast the years are going by. Hunter reminds me daily he will be leaving for college in a few years. :(

 Izzy is in my class this year. Haley left Isabelle notes in her desk. She was so excited.

First Friday of school is always the Jamboree. We played at Houston. We won.  

 Hunter has to ride the bus to football games so me, Rob & Haley went out to eat pizza.

 We love our #81! We love Tate #17 too.

We love watching Lily cheer. She seems to have so much fun.

Heather & the kids spent the night on a school night so I had to snag this cute pic of the girls before breakfast.

Haley is Amy's teacher assistant. She loves it.

This year they let us start tailgaiting before the games. We have been having so much fun. We split a spot with the Kolwycks. Julie decorated!

Justin & Amber welcome baby Ella Grace Headley on August 27th.  Haley loves babies like her momma.

 It was a busy month full of happy times & celebrations. I love my family and friends.
