Sadness & Loss

In April, we lost Robbie's cousin, McKenzie, who lived in North Carolina. We pray for Trisha Ann, Madison & Craig and all they are going through. We went to the graveside service in Sweet Lips. On the morning of the graveside, we found out Robbie's cousin Greg had passed away the night before. It was a very hard day. Attending the graveside for one cousin and having to break the news of another cousins passing. Our hearts were hurting and so heavy.

Greg is the reason Robbie is a Florida State fan. He called Robbie a few nights before he died and talked to him for a while. He knew Mawmaw was fixing to pass and wanted Robbie to know he was there for him. Uncle Louis and Aunt Nell are in our thoughts and prayers daily.

Just a few short weeks after Greg passed, on May 1st, Mawmaw passed away. We were glad that she was not suffering anymore but we were filled with sadness. We will miss her greatly.

The last few months have been extremely hard for all of us. We take comfort in the fact that God is in control and will take care of us in all situations.  Psalm 55:22 Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.
