Pumpkin Carving Fun

We decided to start a new tradition of having a family pumpkin carving contest.   We scheduled it and unfortuantley had to postpone it when Hannah Grace had to be admitted to the hospital.

After a few days Hannah was all better so we rescheduled our pumpkin carving.
We are so glad this sweet girl is feeling better.

I went into the living room and saw these two cuties laying in the floor having a sweet little conversation.

We had a cookie cake for Robbie & Hunter's birthday since everyone was out of town for their birthdays.

After dessert it was time to start the fun and boy did it start.

Haley was so funny.  I think she had forgotten how yucky the inside of the pumpkin was.  These pictures of her face are priceless.

Hannah did not want to share her marker with uncle Cheetoh.

Everybody working hard.

Had to stop for a quick measuring.  Yep Hunter is now taller than Aunt Heather.

I love the concentration on Hunter's face

Robbie free handed the St. Louis emblem on Hunter's pumpkin.

Lining them up as they were finished.

 The judges.

These two are both so silly!

We had so much fun & look forward to this family tradition.  Of course all the kids won this year.  mom even had prizes for them.

I love my family so much.  They are a true blessing.  I am thankful to God for giving them to me and for each day I am blessed to spend with them.
